About Alice

Alice Gregory is a young and accomplished British Textile Designer specialising in Print.

Trained at Winchester School of Art, she has worked in Studios in England, Italy and USA. She has worked mainly on high fashion neckwear, for several years designing scarves for brands at the top end of the US fashion market, and most recently with a London firm to rejuvenate neckwear designs in the corporate identity market for major organizations of high standing in present day life.

Particular strengths are:

• Knowledge and experience of design techniques, fabrics and styles, combined with fresh, forward-looking ideas.
• Creativity, innovation, flair and the appreciation of future concepts/trends in the production of design layouts, together with the ability to translate them into product design.
• An enthusiasm for both traditional and modern design and for bringing them together in mutually enhancing ways.
• Good diverse ability to draw and paint using different media, and an innate freehand style.
• Effective painting techniques and methods, building extensive colour palettes, and a very good understanding of colour and colour matching.
• Interpreting, representing and developing ideas - together with subject research - to meet clients’ requirements.
